Hotglue
Hot glue is a visual tool which allows the users to create a website directly into web browser for free. It gives the user full freedom to edit the website as soon as you have created an account. Hot glue offers many advantages such as the website looks exactly the same as you would see in edited version which means better presentation and consistency. It has range of tools such as clone object, changing the transparency, bringing the object to foreground/ background, flipping the object, linking an object, making the object appear in all pages, locking object and removing the unwanted object. The tools also includes different types of font styles/ size/ colour and alignment & as well as allows you to add multimedia directly from websites and documents.

what is hotglue?
From my experience, I believe that hot glue is very easy to use as once I created the template for the website I was easily able copy the pages which gave my web portfolio good presentation as it was consistent throughout the website. It was very easy to create navigation link as I could just add link the objects I wanted to. Implementing the web-portfolio together on hot glue was easy task for me because before creating web-portfolio I had explored and experimented with it such as finding out what features and tools hot glue offers. I was then able to plan sketches/ wireframes of the layout I wanted as I got the hang of using it which gave me the idea of print screening some of my works and upload it on my website.

However there were few disadvantages as I wasn't able to rotate some of the images I wanted to therefore I had to edited it on Photo shop and then upload the image which was time consuming. Hot glue doesn't offer range of typeface which was another disadvantage as I had limited choice on the typeface I wanted to use because using photoshop for the text is time consuming comparing to the limited time I had to build the web- portfolio.

Overall, I feel Hot glue is interesting and easy to use unlike over-complicated systems like Wordpress, Drupal, etc. However I think I could of experienced more of the hot glue by adding codes such as JavaScript to add the smooth scroll effect on some pages which was a bonus as it added the professional look as well as easy accessibility for the users. To conclude, I enjoyed using hot glue as I thought it was very simple to set the layouts, resize images and has variety of tools.
