The logo has been created using illustrator as this software has variety of font styles to choose from and produces the image in high quality. I've used "Georgia" as the font style because it has the "header" title appearance and also because it goes well with the "Nepalese writing" as its wide and has blunter with flatter end. The typeface is uppercase because it makes the logo stand out as well as looks simple yet classy.

The first letter is larger which makes logo stand out as when you look at it the first thing you see is the letter "S" whereas if all the text was same size then it would look flat and boring and wouldn't stand out as much. In additional we are cultivated to believe that the first letter is always uppercase/ larger which draws our attention into the logo.

The use of nepalese writing adds texture to the logo and also identifies me. The size of the text is smaller than the main heading as I want my name to be eye catching. The underline style has been used as it adds structure to the logo.

Since this project is all about myself, I decided to create a logo as this will help the users immediately identify me. I wanted to keep the logo very simple yet classy therefore I've chosen to just have it as my name in two different writing; English and Nepalese because the main purpose of this logo is to send message across the user about me as my nationality is Nepalese but I was raised in England. The logo is aligned to be on top centre so that the logo is the first thing that appears to the users.

As a group we came up with the idea to describe ourselves into 3 words and to put all the sticky notes together. The main purpose of this task was to get the idea of how to promote ourself in order to create personal brand.

This project included personal branding as the main purpose of this web portfolio is to build a portfolio that identifies me meaning that this particular task played a big role such creating the logo, colour scheme and layout as shown below. In order to get the ideas the first task was to come up with 3 different words to describe myself to put all the words together and create a logo design that identifies them 3 words. The logo was created to be very simple without being detailed yet easily identifiable such as my full name in two different languages (writing). Overall I'm pleased with the outcome of the logo as its very simple and adding the nepalese text makes the logo look very unique. Furthermore the colour scheme of the logo is also very simple (black and white) as black stands out really well with plain white background.
